While enjoying this time-honored tea service, you will hear lovely calming classical piano music performed by the talented, Lisa Pressman. Time seems to magically slip away without the hustle-and-bustle of the world outside the Phoenician doors.

To begin, you will be able to choose from a variety of wonderful, hand selected teas. The full-service tea starts off with scrumptious, FINGER SANDWICHES…

What is unique and so very special about this tea service are the lovely ladies, (and Natalie Mata in particular,) who come around to offer as many sandwiches as you would like. I have experienced tearooms all around the world and the only one that I have seen do this type of service is the Ritz, in London. I am not ashamed to say that I had more than seconds myself, as each one of them were so delicious and yummy!

Tea-time continues at a leisurely, calm, pace with my favorite part of the tea party… The home baked luscious, mouthwatering SCONES that are the finest I have ever enjoyed. They serve buttermilk and cranberry scones, accompanied by clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves. Simply sensational. And yes, I had more than 2!

Then… The Pièce De Résistance:

MY GOODNES… These sweets are not only gorgeous to look at, but divine to devour. Oh, and I must mention there are no calories in the tearoom! OK, maybe a few but worth every single one of them.

I also found it lovely and unique, that typically, the three courses are customarily served on a three-tiered structured plate, served all at the same time. Here, you are served each course, individually, slowly, calmy, with style, in a non-rushed atmosphere.

Furthermore, if you stay at the award-winning Phoenician Resort, it offers true opulence, grandeur, and luxury. The rooms and the many different accommodations are beyond stellar! In addition, all the restaurants on the grounds are spectacular as well!

I highly recommend the Phoenician Tea Courts wonderfully authentic tea service. It hits the excellence mark on every single possible level. Don’t miss out on this treasured experience.
