THE MOSAIC

A Stand-Out Beverly Hills Boutique Hotel

The award-winning Mosaic Boutique Hotel screams style, charm, and ambiance. It is refined, chic, and classy. It was apparent the moment I entered its welcoming, sophisticated and handsome lobby that I had come to a very special, hush-hush place. Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills for six years, (It has been other hotels for 80 years) on a quiet residential street, the recently remodeled Mosaic Hotel Beverly Hills is a haven of elegance, warmth and impeccable service. The hotel has a superb location only a stone's throw from all the shops on the celebrated Rodeo Drive and Century City , and 5 minutes to the Sunset Strip, nightclubs and theaters.

The hotel's reputation for tranquility and intimacy is well-deserved. The Mosaic is renowned for its many Hollywood stars and movie moguls who stay here. Guests enjoy great privacy escaping through alternate entrances without being seen. Oh, if only the walls could talk. As befits the name, The Mosaic draws elements and motivation from around the world into a new style unique and all its own. It embodies ultimate luxury with a modern European appeal. This engaging atmosphere is the place to come to be spoiled and pampered.

The boutique hotel offers 49 fully loaded guest suites/rooms with interior corridors, and flows about a heated garden pool with private cabanas and reception area. You will, without a doubt, feel like an old-time movie star sunbathing around this pool. You can also dine poolside by candlelight for ultra romance.

My room had a timeless design without the trendy preconception. It was richly decorated in warm tones, and although not dazzling or ornate it was elegantly tasteful and seductive, yet comfortable and highly functional. The fantastic amenities were all present, which made for a wonderfully accommodating stay and a plush, superbly cozy night's sleep. I felt so comfy and at ease in my suite.

Even though it is a small hotel, there is still 24-hour room service and something I am personally crazy about...a late-night gym. The young highly-trained staff members who run the hotel are so cool and tremendously helpful. They are also concierge-empowered to take care of any request. Brendan Carlin, who you will most likely run into, is the friendly General Manager who directs his eager staff with true talent and finesse. While all hotels may express a desire to please, this small setting brought personalized service to a whole new level. I found that The Mosaic provided an individual attention that was tailored to my individual needs no matter what I requested.

There is a full-service restaurant that serves excellent food (West coast breakfast, spa inspired lunch and regional European style cuisine dinner) with an international flair. Rich Wood is the talented chef performing all the magic in the kitchen. A little tip...I observed that the small bar off the dining room buzzes with stylish and attractive locals, especially the young Creative Artists crowd.

The Mosaic Hotel is quite a refreshing alternative to all the glitz of Beverly Hills ! I loved the very calming and private setting. It possessed the rare ability to make me feel like I was home. It is a treasure and a real hotel find!
