Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Rob Marshall, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” captures the entertaining, journey and humor that ignited the screen this time in Disney Digital 3D™. Johnny Depp (The Tourist, 2010) returned to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in this thrilling action-packed adventure. Crossing paths with the mysterious Angelica (Penélope Cruz, NINE, 2009), he’s unable to tell if he is in love with her, or if she’s a callous con artist who’s using him to locate the fabled Fountain of Youth.

When she kidnaps him aboard the “Queen Anne’s Revenge,” the ship of the renowned pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane, 44 Inch Chest, 2010), Jack finds himself on an unanticipated quest in which he doesn’t quite know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he experienced a mysterious past. The international cast includes franchise vets Geoffrey Rush (The King's Speech, 2010) as the vengeful Captain Hector Barbossa, and Kevin R. McNally (Valkyrie, 2008) as Captain Jack’s longtime comrade Joshamee Gibbs, plus Sam Claflin (TV Pillars of the Earth, 2010) as Phillip, a stalwart missionary; and Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Premiere Etoile, 2009) as a mystifying mermaid, Syrena.

THE BLONDE: This film is like Splash meets Captain Hook!  WELL, WELL, WELL!   I was pleasantly surprised about this “Pirates” sequel. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I particularly loved the story line. I am not a huge fan of this series but, I must admit, I did become a new fan after watching this one. I thought Depp was at his most “Deppiest” in this film. Very witty, and his comedic timing and acting hit the mark! This movie never stopped moving for a second. It was fun and interesting to watch. I have to say, I was completely captivated. Movie goers, DO NOT leave to buy snacks or to use the restroom, you will most definitely miss too much!

THE BRUNETTE: I AGREE! I was completely glued to the screen from the beginning to the end. I loved listening to the audience reactions upon seeing each of the characters reappear in this action adventure fantasy!

THE BLONDE: I loved the chemistry and tit for tat humor between Penelope and Johnny. They are both eye candy on screen. FYI, DO notice the baby bump on Penelope. She was pregnant during the filming of this flick. Still stunningly gorgeous though!   I am actually not sure if I think Johnny is hotter as Johnny himself or Jack Sparrow! Love the liner though!

THE BRUNETTE:I am actually hot for the director, Rob Marshall!

THE BLONDE: Oh, yeah, I love Garry Marshall's son too!

THE BRUNETTE: And this is what makes you the blonde you are today! He is of no relation to that Marshall. He is the reknown director of the films, NINE and Memoirs of a Geisha! And above all that he is adorable!

THE BLONDE: How can you possibly resist Johnny? Brunette, did you see the Oprah show with Johnny Depp as the guest. They took the entire audience, including me, on buses with the hunky Depp to watch the film with him? He handed out popcorn and other snacks and drinks. It was a blast. So much fun!

THE BRUNETTE: Aha, right and I take it that you are implying you were there, right?

THE BLONDE: Implying????   Meoow girl!   Speaking of good fortune, the Royal Wedding was amazing as well!

THE BRUNETTE: Not biting. Not going there!

THE BLONDE: Not totally impressed with the food they served at the dinner though; but, Kate is a doll and don't even get me started on William and Harry. While we are on the subject, it took hours to get that Queen's curtsey right, but nailed it!

THE BRUNETTE: Actually, We were not on the subject, but do keep dreaming.  Are you regularly taking your meds?

THE BLONDE: It’s great being me!

THE BRUNETTE: I only shutter to imagine what that would even feel like?  Back to REALITY at hand...The film???!

THE BLONDE:  Ya know, I want some of that Fountain of Youth. I realize, that I am far from the age to need it, but it would be nice to have it on ice.

THE BRUNETTE: Aha, on ice indeed!  You'd raid the fridge before midnight!   Perhaps, they can up YOUR meds!  You might be immune to your current dose.

THE BLONDE: Ya know, maybe YOU need some of that fountain for yourself. You are getting a bit, well, you know...

THE BRUNETTE: Yea right!!!

THE BLONDE: MEOW!

THE BRUNETTE: Speaking of fantasy... The costumes were fantastic and almost pirate surreal. Kudos to the costume designer, Penny Rose.

THE BLONDE: I know this is a random thought, but I thought the line in the film, “An old moon in the arms of a new one” to describe the shape of the moon was lovely.

THE BRUNETTE: Dreaming again? You still jealous of Demi Moore?

THE BLONDE: OUCH!!!! Moving right along...And really, what was up with those mermaids? They were breathtakingly beautiful, but what attitude. They were as bitchy as ALL of the Real Housewives!

THE BRUNETTE:Divas to the max!!!  However, their costumes were awesome as well! I almost believed they were real mermaids!

THE BLONDE:  You believe they were real mermaids but not the reality of my Oprah and royal wedding experiences. I think your blonde roots are showing now!

THE BRUNETTE: Mermaids are much easier to believe!

THE BLONDE: All I can say, is a resounding WOW!  The only negative thing that I have to state about this film is… I never get dizzy watching 3-D films but, this one made me crazy dizzy.

THE BRUNETTE: How would you tell the difference?!!!

THE BLONDE: Very funny… Not!

THE BRUNETTE: I do, however, have to agree with the Blonde on this one. I suggest going to see it without the 3-D. If you see it again then, do the 3-D experience to compare.

THE BLONDE: I thought the score was outrageously brilliant and must have been fun to lay the tracks down while watching the film.

THE BRUNETTE: I agree, the music added to the intensity of the drama and the humor as well. Check out the movies spectacular soundtrack. It was written by acclaimed composers, Eric Whitacre, his wife Hila Plitmann and Hans Zimmer.

THE BLONDE: A word to the wise movie fans, stay till all the credits are completed to catch the surprise ending! I strongly recommend a large tub of popcorn with sea salt, Swedish Fish candy and a large bottle of water to watch this exciting film. From the Fountain of Youth, if possible! I rate Pirates of the Caribbean a solid B!   Rock on Johnny.  See you later!!!!!

THE BRUNETTE: Yeah, right!!!

THE BLONDE: MEOW!

THE BRUNETTE: Run, don't walk to see Pirates of the Caribbean! I rate it a solid A-AHOY MATES AND DONT GET CAUGHT WALKING THE PLANK!

THE BLONDE:  Oh dear Lord! How tacky can you possibly get! Well, you are getting old! I will give you the first sip of my fountain water that I have on ice!!! You need it more!!!!
